CABAÏA has been B Corp certified since September 2022.
B Corp is one of the most demanding certifications in the world when it comes to environmental and social impact, as well as transparency. Companies such as Patagonia, Nature & Découvertes, Veja or Sézane are also B Corp certified.
What is B Corp?
B Corp is an international certification awarded by the independent organisation B Lab.
It assesses companies on more than 200 criteria grouped into five areas:
governance,
environment,
community,
working conditions,
customer relations.
It is a highly demanding label: every point must be proven, documented, and verifiable. Certified companies must also commit to continuous improvement.
Why it matters
B Corp ensures that a company:
truly acts on its impacts (and not only through communication),
is accountable for its commitments,
undergoes regular audits,
integrates responsibility into all aspects of its operations: production, purchasing, logistics, partnerships, and internal organisation.
Our concrete commitments
As a B Corp certified company, we commit in particular to:
Promoting and encouraging circular economy practices: second-hand sales and clearance events each year.
Designing durable products: more than 50% of our products are made from recycled materials; GRS, EVE VEGAN and GOTS certified fabrics.
Protecting animals: 98% of our accessories are EVE VEGAN certified; annual partnership with the SPA.
Reducing our impact: carbon-neutral deliveries, removal of plastic from packaging.
