Cabaia is a truly committed brand, and we proudly highlight our certifications. To be fully transparent about our labels, we’re giving you more information below:

We’ll start with the most important one: The B-CORP Label.

It was a bit too long to summarize everything here, so we wrote an entire FAQ on the subject RIGHT HERE.

For the other labels, feel free to keep reading!

The BSCI Label

Behind this acronym is the Business Social Compliance Initiative, a certification awarded to companies that commit to ensuring good working conditions throughout their international supply chains.

What does this mean in concrete terms?
There are no children working in our production sites.
There is no modern slavery, nor any Uyghur forced labor in our facilities.
Our workers are paid fairly and equitably.

The FairWear Label

This label certifies that employees have controlled and reasonable working hours, decent working conditions, and the right to be part of a union. It also complements the BSCI label by checking overall working conditions in production sites (modern slavery, discrimination, child labor, etc.).

REACH & OEKO-TEX

These labels apply to the materials we use to make our products. They certify that our materials are free from substances harmful to the body and the environment.
There’s a Chinese saying that you can guess the color of H&M’s next collection by looking at the color of the rivers. That is not, and will never be, the case with Cabaïa.

EVE Vegan

All our products, except for a few beanies, are EVE Vegan certified, meaning they contain no animal-derived materials (such as leather or wool). We kept a range of wool beanies that are either made from recycled wool from previous products or sourced from farms that respect animal welfare and do not practice mulesing.

Beyond these main certifications, Cabaïa is also certified GOTS, GRS, and FSC.
